Furnival is the name the North East Ohio Furs (NEO Furs) have given to their annual gathering. The term Furnival is derived from combining the words furry and carnival. It is our hope to combine equal parts of the furry fandom, summer carnivals and the festive wintertime carnival celebrations.

We started with a simple summer picnic several years ago. Then after a couple of year with no annual gathering we decided to have an organized picnic in a nice central location. We chose the Ledges Facility just north of Akron, OH. Many attendees asked us to make our annual event into something a little bigger. This was the beginning of Furnival, several organized events which will occur over 3 days.
